Dee initially served as the Interim Small Business Director for the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation (JPNDC) for eight months. She continued to work with the organization as an independent consultant for their Small Business Program shaping and structuring the program’s operations, while engaging with both existing and new clients. Dee also played a key role in hiring the Director and training the Associate Director. Additionally, she designed a four-part workshop series aimed at aiding new business owners in understanding the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, thereby enhancing the program’s overall capacity. Her contributions also include improving internal systems and data collection processes.
